Theory A

Present and future tense verbs are conjugated persons (in Ukrainian: individual) and numbers (in Ukrainian: number).

Practice A

1. Find in the text verbs and related nouns and pronouns.

The kinglet is the smallest bird in our forests. It weighs only five to seven grams, and eats up to four grams of insects per day.

Up to two thousand branches will be examined per day by a titmouse. One tit destroys up to six million insect larvae per year.

Fleeing from the cold, hazel grouse spends under the snow up to twenty hours a day.

2. Put the verb in the form that makes sense.

Magpie - a mockingbird *. It is easy, especially at a young age, to (copy) the voices of other birds, animals and even frogs. Therefore, in a dog society it is not (to be surprised) when one of the interlocutors, sitting high in the crown of trees, suddenly (croaks) like a frog, (barks) a dog and (clucks) like a chicken.

SPEECH DEVELOPMENT

Read Here is my village...

My native village of Nagorskoye stood on the high bank of the Vyatka*. My father's house was large, logged *. And the windows overlooked the river.

I was then six years old. I somehow climbed onto the windowsill, looking down, into the distance ...

What a beauty! Below, the water glistens, plays under the sun, and on the other side they mow hay ... Far, far away everything is visible, already breathtaking ... They call me, but I can neither tear myself away nor respond. Until now, this beauty stands before my eyes.

To know, and grandfathers understood beauty. That is why they chose a place to live on the highest hillock.

But looking from the hillock is one thing. And how you will rise into the sky and float above all this ... This is a picture! Can't tell, can't explain...
