Why do cats have 9 lives. Why is it said that cats have nine lives?

Since ancient times, cats have been surrounded by a certain mystical halo. V different countries, religions and times, they were either revered as sacred animals, or declared allies of Satan. The expression "a cat has nine lives" is still commonly used.

We will try to understand the origins of such an attitude towards this small predator, which has become a pet in ancient times.

How many lives do cats have - six, seven or nine?

It must be said that not all nations believe that the most popular pet nine lives. So, in Southern Europe, in Germany and Austria, there is a widespread belief about seven cat lives, and the Arabs and Turks completely reduce this number to six.

The folklore of different peoples reflects the legendary vitality of this animal in different ways. For example, in " explanatory dictionary of the living Great Russian language ”Dal gives the only proverb on this subject:“ The ninth death pesters the cat, it is tenacious. The British and Americans say: “A cat has nine lives. Three she plays, three she wanders, and the other three stays where she is.” Another well-known English old expression: "A woman has nine lives, like a cat."

The Germans are simply stating a fact: "A cat has seven lives." The Hungarian proverb sounds more interesting: "A cat has seven lives, but only one dwelling." Like the Germans, the Arabs and the Turks speak of six cat lives. At the same time, the Turks still have a proverb according to which these animals have a large number of lives: "A cat has nine souls, and a woman has nine cats."

Important! It is assumed that such a discrepancy in the number of lives a cat has is associated with different “favorite” or “lucky” numbers among different peoples. The meanings of these numbers are explained in different ways - by religious ideas, numerology, echoes of ancient sacred rites.

Reasons affecting the judgment of the cat's mystical vitality

The widespread beliefs in the world about the incredible vitality of cats are not at all accidental. Like any predator, these animals have well-developed eyesight, hearing, and sense of smell. So, their visual acuity is six times greater than that of a person, while their viewing angle is almost 190 °, which is one and a half times wider than a human.

Hearing and sense of smell are also vastly superior to those of humans. All this, together with excellent coordination and intellectual abilities, allows the animal to notice the danger in time, evade the attack of a larger predator, hide in a place inaccessible to the pursuer - in general, it greatly increases the chances of survival.
In addition, excellent vestibular apparatus and physique increase the chances of survival. This is especially pronounced when animals fall from considerable heights, for example, from the roof of a nine-story building, after which they often get off with only bruises. The fact is that with such a fall, the animal will always be able to dodge and begin to fall with its paws down. In addition, the cat spreads out like a flying squirrel. All this, combined with low weight, slows down the fall, and the structure of the paws and their correct position at the moment of contact absorb the impact on the surface.

Did you know? Probably the most record-breaking fall was experienced by a kitten named Sabrina. He fell from the 32nd floor of a New York skyscraper and survived with a popped tooth and minor damage to his chest.

To all other cats have developed regeneration of the body, which is expressed in the rapid healing of wounds. Don't forget about the famous cat's purr. It has long been noticed that it has a positive effect on people, helps them relax, relieves depression, removes disturbing thoughts, which ultimately has a positive effect on the condition. human body. The rumbling has the same beneficial effect on the animal itself. This is speculated to be related to the sonic range of this purr.

As you can see, the vitality of this animal is associated with its developed brain, natural instincts and characteristics of the body. All this, probably, was transformed in the minds of people into a legend about the nine lives of tailed pets.

Watch your cat while playing, hunting or just walking. How gracefully and unmistakably calibrated every movement of this born huntress! Her physique and all other qualities are ideally honed by mother nature over the millennia of evolution. Since ancient times, such perfection has fascinated many generations of people, but it has always been alarming.

In ancient Egypt, cats were considered an impeccable creation of nature and were worshiped on a par with the gods. In Medieval Europe, the same perfections were attributed to the machinations of the devil, considering graceful and independent purrs to be his messengers in the world of people. They were mercilessly destroyed just because the cat tribe has many unique abilities, some of which are still not fully understood by the human mind.

In our time, the mystical horror of these animals has receded into the distant and dark past, but our pets, living side by side with humans for many centuries, have not become less mysterious from this. One of the most incomprehensible secrets of this wonderful creature is its incredible, simply supernatural vitality. Why, then, are many people today convinced that a cat has not one, but nine whole lives?

Mystical interpretations

  • Divine patronage. In ancient times, supporters of various religions and beliefs were sure that cats are capable of reincarnation. And most often they were attributed exactly nine rebirths in various guises. For example, in the ancient Egyptian pantheon of gods, it was nine of them who patronized the earth, and the cat was considered their successive incarnation, sent to people to protect them from various troubles and hardships such as famine or epidemics. In fact, cats in large quantities destroyed rodents that spoiled crops and were carriers of various diseases. Gradually, the worship of the cat tribe turned its representatives into divine creatures, incarnations of the goddess Bastet (or Bast), whose murder was punishable by death. In the 8th century BC. in Egypt, even the whole city of Bubastis was built - the center of worship of the goddess Bast.

    Perhaps the myth of the nine lives of a cat originated in the depths of Scandinavian mythology, where Odin's wife Freya was the ruler of nine worlds, and nine fluffy "horses" accompanied her everywhere and even drove her chariot through the heavens.

  • The machinations of the devil. The gloomy Middle Ages was saturated with many terrible superstitions that were born from absolute ignorance among ordinary people and, like an epidemic, spread through cities and villages. The Holy Inquisition also added fuel to the fire, inventing more and more new ways to intimidate the people. During the time of the "witch hunt", incomprehensible and independent creatures with eyes burning at night were immediately enlisted as the devil's accomplices along with the sorceresses. It was believed that witches could turn into cats and, under the cover of night, meet with a demon. In this guise, they could enter the homes of pious Christians with impunity to do their evil deeds. If such a werewolf cat was killed, then her human form returned to the witch. Such a metamorphosis, each sorceress in her life could do no more than nine times. That's nine cat lives for you!
  • Why exactly nine? Mysterious cat talents have always been associated with people with something magical, and the “nine” at all times among different peoples was considered an unusual number. In Greek culture, nine muses patronize various talents; in the Orthodox religion, there are nine angelic ranks. The star, symbolizing the Holy Spirit, has nine rays, and the mysterious Atlantis, according to Plato, disappeared from the face of the Earth nine millennia ago. The personification of the number "nine" in numerology is the manifestation of the divine principle, perfection in everything, but at the same time - independence and even some selfishness. These traits are inherent in almost every cat.

    Realistic Explanations

    • Magic rumbling. One of the existing hypotheses explains the extraordinary endurance and vitality of the cat tribe by the ability of its representatives to purr. Many scientists who study cats believe that the frequency of sounds made by animals is in the range that most favorably affects the body of the animal and the one who is next to it at this time.

      By producing sound vibrations, mustachioed "hippocrats" are engaged in self-healing, self-soothing and self-massage. The amazing results of such an impact of purring have long been tested by people on themselves. A purring cat has been proven to aid recovery bone tissue, withdrawal various kinds inflammation, resilience nervous system and the disappearance of many other unpleasant diagnoses. That's just the very mechanism of influence on the body of a smoothly running motor remains a secret with seven seals.

    • An extraordinary sense of balance. Surely everyone saw live or on television how a cat, falling from a great height, remains unharmed, having managed to land on all four paws. Such a phenomenon fits the definition of "miracle". But, like many supernatural phenomena, it has a completely earthly explanation. Such an amazing ability is explained by the unusually precise work of the vestibular apparatus, which allows the animal to orient itself and take the correct position of the body already in flight. In addition, the structure of the cat's body is such that it allows you to plan, sprawling in the air. The mustachioed "stuntman" can even control the direction of movement with the help of a tail that serves as a kind of steering wheel. Moreover, the higher the animal falls, the more chances it has to group before it hits the ground.
    • Adaptability. The cat has an amazing ability to use any circumstances to its advantage and adapt to any situation. These wonderful creatures are equally comfortable both in a human dwelling and in the wild. They always manage to get a tidbit for themselves and find a cozy place to relax. Even a completely domestic animal "at heart" always remains a wild predator. These secret knowledge they will always help out a cat that suddenly finds itself on the street. Unlike many other animals tamed by man, in such a situation, she copes well with the difficulties of independent living and often does not even want to return to the benefits of civilization.

    Thanks to the developed intellect, the cat was able to subordinate even the “crown of creation” to its interests - you and me. Any owner of a fluffy miracle will confirm that his pet easily achieves his affection or perseverance. They even invented meowing so that "near-minded" owners would better understand the needs of a tailed pet!

Today we will talk about our smaller brothers and try to figure out the question of whether cats really have 9 lives, or is it fiction and not true. This question, I think, was asked by many cat owners whose pets got into trouble and almost lost their lives. Cats are very brave by nature and are not afraid of heights. They can safely play on the eaves of tall buildings. Playing, and not knowing fear, many pets break down and fall on the asphalt. The fact that cats survive such falls is the foundation of the 9 lives belief. From the point of view of science, the legend of 9 cat lives has a logical explanation.

9 lives 9 facts let's go!

Fact One.

Talking about divine intervention. The Egyptians always considered cats close to the gods, endowing them with the powers of messengers or even believing that the gods themselves appear in our world in the form of mustachioed touchy. Perhaps the myth of cats originated in ancient Egypt. Some believe that this is a gift from the god Ra himself, who is often depicted as a cat. Or maybe it was the goddess Freya, the ruler of the nine worlds, who thanked the cats that carry her chariot across the sky?

Fact two

Devilish tricks. The souls of people who lived in the Middle Ages were filled with horror before Satan, the devil and all his manifestations. It was believed that the witch could turn into a cat in order to penetrate the dwellings of pious people. After dying, the cat took on its true form. The sorceress during her life could do this "trick" nine times.

Fact three

Numerology Why exactly nine lives, and not ten, for example? The number 9 has been considered magical since ancient times. It closes the cycle: 1-9, 19, 29, 999. It reproduces itself when multiplied by any number: 9x7=63, 6+3=9; 9x156=1404, 1+4+0+4=9. According to the writings of the ancient Greek philosopher Pluto, Atlantis included nine kingdoms. By the way, the Greeks also have nine muses.

Fact four

Ideal Proportions. The prehistoric ancestors of whales lived on land and looked like otters in appearance. The ancestors of horses moved on the pads of their fingers and resembled foxes with a rough head. But the cat was already recognizable 50 million years ago. These animals have changed remarkably little over millions of years of evolution. Apparently, the cats were so perfect right from the start that they only needed a little touch-up.

Fact five

It is known that rumbling accelerates the regeneration of tissues, especially bone. Why this happens is unclear. Many researchers are even trying to create an apparatus that imitates this sound; experimental developments already exist. Some zoologists are sure that 9 lives are the result of her ability to self-medicate.

Fact six. vestibular apparatus

Not only do cats have great physiques, they also have a unique sense of balance. Falling from a height, these animals always manage to land on their paws, taking the desired position even in the “flight”. Often 9 lives of a cat are explained by this phenomenon.

Fact seven. Adaptability

Endowed with high intelligence, the cat is able to find a way out of any situation and adapt to any conditions. Wherever cats live, in the steppes or dense forests, in the mountains or on the streets of a metropolis, they always manage to find warmth and food. Cats have learned to live close to humans, although it is not in their nature to be part of a pack. They even came up with a unique language to communicate with slow-witted bipeds - meow. This amazing phenomenon! No other animal has "thought" of inventing a special language to communicate with humans.

Fact eight. Independence

Sometimes 9 lives of mustachioed pets are associated with their self-sufficiency and independence. A cunning cat, having learned to use the benefits of people, remains a full-fledged animal. Most domestic animals, when returned to their natural habitat, are unable to survive or survive at the cost of colossal efforts. But not just a cat. It is as if she keeps in the depths of her consciousness all the experience of her ancestors, quickly turning from an affectionate murka into a wild predator.

Fact nine. Courage, but not recklessness

Perhaps a cat has 9 lives also because these animals are excellent analysts. Take, for example, a dominant terrier with a strong territorial instinct. What happens if you bring a Caucasian Shepherd to his house? The terrier will rush at the intruder, although it is obvious that he has no chance of winning. But the cat has a cold prudence. For a dog that is not twice its size, a cat will easily “set the heat”, and from a large dog it will run away to a tree.

Despite the incredible vitality of these amazing animals, a cat has only one life. The owner should not rely on the gods, or on nature, or on the intelligence of a mustachioed pet. Legends are beautiful, sometimes you really want to believe in myths, but you should not tempt fate.

Cats have always been the heroes of many beliefs, superstitions, myths and fairy tales. But one of the most mysterious is connected precisely with the vitality of these cute purring creatures.

A folk proverb says: cats are so tenacious that they can die only from the ninth death. In one English medieval epic there is an interesting character - the cat king Tyrold, so he, for example, had seven lives. Such an opinion about cats could arise for many reasons.

Divine Intervention

It is known that in ancient Egypt, cats were revered and idolized. At the same time, the Egyptians believed in 27 gods, who were conditionally divided into three groups of 9. Each group was responsible for water, heaven and earth. Cats were an integral part of religious life, as well as the mythological life of the gods. They not only accompanied souls to the other world, they also drove across the sky the chariot of the goddess Freya, the ruler of nine worlds, who, according to legend, thanked her faithful subjects with nine lives, one for each world

Cats and witches

The fact that cats have always been companions of witches is nothing new or surprising. As well as the fact that witches could take on the form of a cat in order to enter people's homes. And they could do this a little more than 9 times.

Excellent flexibility and balance

Cats have a well-developed vestibular apparatus. Walking along the thin railings of the balcony on the 8th floor will not be difficult for them. A healthy cat will only fall if you scare it or if it wants to jump after the bird. But even falling from a height, they manage to land on their paws. There are a myriad of stories associated with their successful landing. Often, nine lives are explained precisely by this phenomenon.

And again the magic numbers

With the advent of mathematics and calculus, the number 9 has always been considered magical. It is she who closes all the cycles 9 ... 19 ... 29. In addition, it reproduces itself when multiplied by any number, for example, 5×9=45, 4+5=9. According to the writings of Pluto, Atlantis combined 9 kingdoms. The Greeks had 9 nymphs. In Orthodoxy, angels have 9 ranks. Even the worst nightmare of sailors is associated with this figure and is called the ninth shaft.

Independence, adaptability and enviable intelligence

The cat is endowed with these qualities in full. She is able to adapt to any conditions and wherever she lives, she manages to find warmth and food. Domestic cats, taking advantage of the benefits of people, nevertheless remain independent creatures. They seem to store all the wisdom and experience of their ancestors. In addition, cats are excellent analysts who have cold prudence. When faced with a stronger beast, they will prefer to leave. And they rarely use their teeth and claws among themselves, preferring to hiss and yell at each other for hours. Really why? After all, the slightest scratch of an opponent can turn into an infection.

No matter how much they talk about the 9 lives of a cat, we are well aware that this is just a metaphor. Our pets have only one life during which they need to be loved and protected.

The cat has been man's favorite pet for centuries. She's funny, smart, warm, and incredibly independent. This animal practically does not express its emotions, unlike a dog, it is not so happy when the owner comes home from work, but still he is loved, pampered, caressed. And, of course, every fluffy owner wants to know as much as possible about their pet. Today we will try to find out why cats have 9 lives, about them " medicinal properties"and a lot of interesting things. I also want to look at home when the animal is alone, to peep what it is doing. And then we will rest a little and tell the incredible and funny stories about cats! So, to begin with, let's consider a question that interests all lovers of these cute creatures.

Is it true that cats heal people?

Nowadays, people often suffer from depression, fatigue and various diseases internal organs. Improper nutrition, and ecology, and lack of rest, and workload at work also affect. Stroking a cat, its purring calms, relieves fatigue, and this is noted by all cat owners. With its warmth, it warms, gives a feeling of calmness, peace, and caressing the legs or hand, the animal shows that it needs the owner and is very loved. That is why single women almost always have a cat or even several. But can they cure real diseases?

A proven fact is that cats are endowed with the gift of recognizing and processing human energy. They know where the owner hurts (even if the person himself does not know this, because the pain of the diseased organ is not always physically felt), lie down on this place and draw out the disease. So, they mostly treat heart ailments and stomach diseases. The cat takes the pain away from the person and often develops the same disease herself, and there are many reported cases. For example, there is a story about a cat that saved its owner, who was hopelessly ill with cancer. The man recovered, but the pussy developed a tumor, and soon she died.

"Cat First Aid Kit"

Do all cats have the gift of healing? Scientists say that everything, but their abilities depend on the breed and size. We suggest that you familiarize yourself with what the most common and popular individuals can treat.

  1. The larger the cat, the more energy it has, and therefore it can treat almost all ailments.
  2. In order for a cat to be curative, it must be friendly, sociable and mature.
  3. Long-haired pets, such as Persian, Burmese, Angora, Siberian and the like, do an excellent job with depression, treat neuroses.
  4. "Persians" relieve joint pain, treat osteochondrosis.
  5. Angoras perfectly diagnose the disease and accurately determine the focus of the disease.
  6. Hairless and short-haired cats heal from diseases of the heart, liver and kidneys.
  7. The European Shorthair will relieve hypertension, minimize the risk of heart attack and stroke.
  8. Siamese representatives are somehow able to destroy bacteria in the house and this is useful for the whole family. However, only the beloved owner will treat diseases.
  9. Cats with "plush" coats, such as the British, do an excellent job with heart ailments.

Experts note that cats better relieve pain in the joints and treat them. Cats also help with neurosis and depression, fight diseases of internal organs. A scientifically proven fact: people who have such animals live 4-5 years longer than those who do not have this pet!

Perhaps cats can heal with their warmth, because their body temperature is 2-3 degrees higher than that of humans. But this remains a mystery of nature and the secret of the cat itself!

Why do cats have 9 lives?

Since ancient times, there is a belief that these mustachioed hunters are endowed with nine lives. The myth was born long ago, even before the founding of Ancient Egypt. People then believed that the gods endowed cats with so many lives in gratitude for the fact that they are the link between the other world and the real world. It was said that the cat, having died, was reincarnated and returned to this world with the memory that was in the previous life. After nine deaths, she remained with the gods, serving them directly.

In the Middle Ages, as you know, a witch hunt was declared. Why "under kneading" got cats? The thing is that priests and inquisitors considered the fluffy beauty to be the accomplice of the devil because of her love for night walks and her eyes glowing in the dark. It was also believed that a witch could turn into a cat in order to settle down to live with pious Christians, doing her "dark deeds" imperceptibly. After death, the cat took on its true form, becoming a man, then the witch again turned into a cat and could do this 9 times throughout her life.

Modern scientists explain 9 lives as follows: an animal can independently heal even from deadly diseases thanks to its purring, which is carried out at frequencies from 22 to 45 hertz. Such vibrations are able to cure diseases, restore and regenerate the affected tissues of organs. How does this happen? Scientists are working on this issue, studying this phenomenon.

Here is a story about cats. For children, it will be interesting, and they will understand that it is not worth checking for the presence of a furry life with dangerous methods. After all, there are many cases when small children threw a pet from balconies in order to verify the veracity of myths.

Second cat

Many fans of mustachioed impatiens can decide on a second purr. If two kittens were taken into the house, then there will be no problems, they will play, grow together. And what happens if you bring a cat or a kitten into a house where a fluffy predator already lives? There will certainly be a lot of hissing, hair on end, cat spitting, even a real fight can start. In no case should you interfere, the animals themselves must get to know each other, solve all problems. If the fight turned not for life, but for death, then disperse the enemies by splashing water on them.

Another scenario may develop: the local "princess" will drive the stranger into a corner and will not allow him to get out of there. And this is a problem with food and toilets. Take the cat to another room and let the new resident familiarize herself with the territory, show the toilet and her feeder. Cups of cats must be kept at a distance of two meters from each other. When the "vixens" reconcile, it will be possible to move them.

To arise less problems, bring a second cat into the house in a bag or box. Close it for a while in the room, and let the "hostess" sniff the bag in which they brought a new pet.

In any case, two cats in the house will be able to take root, make friends, but this will take time. Do not interfere in the disassembly, do not try to bring them closer by dragging one to the other. The time will come, and both beauties will feel comfortable living together.

In proud loneliness

Surely most people have watched the funny cartoon "The Secret Life of Pets". A cat named Chloe felt very relaxed in the absence of the owner. A well-fed creature without remorse penetrated the refrigerator and ate, choosing all the most delicious. The pet also helped her animal friends living in neighboring apartments. Of course, this is a fictional story about a cat, designed to make people have fun watching this particular one. But we want to know true stories! So, American scientists found out what a cat is doing alone at home by installing surveillance cameras in fifty volunteers. In most cases, the daily routine of the animal is as follows:

  • watching life outside the window - 21.6% of the time;
  • sitting with other pets - 11.8% of the time;
  • plays with toys - 5% of the time;
  • scratches furniture, climbs on it, including high cabinets - 7% of the time;
  • looks at his food or eats - 6.3% of the time;
  • examines various objects, newspapers, books and TV - 6% of the time;
  • sitting or lying under the table - 4% of the time;
  • lies in the sink - 1.7% of the time;
  • sleeping - 6.1% of the time.

But in the experiment, there is one story about a cat that managed to start a fire. She hung on one of the handles, playing with gas stove. Nearby objects ignited, the flames engulfed the kitchen. Fortunately, the fire was quickly put out and did not burn down the entire apartment. The cat was not injured, but caused damage to the owners of 50 thousand euros! It turns out that the hooligan had already tried to set fire to the apartment, but the owners were at home then, and the fire was avoided.

chance meeting

So, we offer you to have fun by reading funny stories about cats. These animals are able not only to cheer with their behavior, but also to help arrange a person's personal life. This is confirmed by the story about the black cat.

All superstitious people avoid crossing the road crossed by this cunning beauty. Many turn off and go the other way, so as not to bring trouble on themselves. But one girl was walking in the lane, the only one leading to her house, and then, as luck would have it, a mystical creature in the form of a black cat crossed her path. A man was walking towards, and he also decided to slow down, hoping that the stranger would be the first to pass "that line." So they approached the danger zone and stood for a long time, not daring to go forward. The man "took full responsibility", but in return invited the girl to go to a restaurant with him. After some time, the couple got married. Today they already have children, and they still remember the story about the cat that became their "matchmaker"! Thus superstition introduced two people.

Thief

A funny story was written by one man. He told about his not sitting at home with his paws folded, but helping the owners to replenish supplies. They took their pet with them to the country. In the season, when the harvest was already beginning to appear, and it could be harvested, households began to find vegetables at the front door in the morning: cucumbers, unripe tomatoes. For a long time they could not understand what virtue feeds them, because their harvest was in place. One day, a man noticed that a cat, having jumped over the fence into a neighbor's garden, went straight to the greenhouse. The thief returned back with a small cucumber in his teeth. Of course, the neighbors were not told about this incident, but the grandmother decided to punish the bandit by spanking him with a slipper for hooliganism. The cat did not appreciate such a gesture, and so far no one can find grandmother's slippers. One cat knows where they might be!

God's gift

This funny story has spread all over the Internet, and the characters who participated in it even took part in the Malakhov program! So, the characters: a cat, his owner a priest, a little girl and her mother.

The action took place in a small village, and events unfolded as follows. The priest was lonely and lived with his faithful cat, who always slept in his bed, next to the owner. Not finding a pet in the house in the evening, the old man went in search of him and saw him sitting on the top of a small tree. Hoping to take off his pet, the priest decided to act like this: he tied one end of the rope to a tree, and the other to a car, drove off so that the tree leaned. The plans were to remove the cat from the plant bending closer to the ground, but something went wrong. The rope, unable to withstand it, burst, and it was at that moment when the tree was already decently tilted. In general, it turned out to be a good slingshot! The animal "entered orbit", and the priest had to pray to God for his salvation and only guess where the projectile would land!

A family lived not far from the priest: a mother and her little daughter. The girl kept asking her parent to get a kitten. But mom had enough trouble anyway, and she, deciding to quickly get rid of the constant “whining” of the child, said that she asked God to give her a cat, and if He decides that it is possible, she will definitely bring the pet to the house. Just at the time when the girl was telling the Lord about her desire and saying how good she was, a frightened animal flew in through the open window. In general, the mother collapsed into a swoon, and the girl squealed with happiness!

Nurse

This is a story about a cat who became a real nanny for a baby. She is sad, but still I want to tell her. In the house where the baby was born, there lived a cat, young and beautiful. She immediately fell in love with the baby so much that she did not leave him a single step. She slept with him in the crib, warming him with her warmth, when the baby began to cry, and the mother was busy with household chores, the purr calmed the baby, played with him, caressed him to calm down. Such an assistant was a joy to all household members. This would have continued if the young family had not moved out. The couple lived with their parents and, having received their own housing, decided to live independently. The cat longed for "its baby" for a long time and one day simply did not return home. It is still unknown where she went, whether she is alive.

Who's guilty?

This is a story about a cat, or rather, a cat that harasses a poor woman. This dirty trick is constantly hooligan, but always comes out dry from the water, and his mistress gets it. Once this happened: the cat caught a sparrow on the balcony and, in order to feast on comfort, dragged it onto the closet. The bird, not wanting to be eaten, escaped, yelled, flew down, the cat behind it! The hostess of the living space and the cat intervened in this nightmare, caught the bird, which immediately, out of fright, "did it" in her palm, grabbed the furious hunter and dragged the entire household to the balcony. The cat scratched, struggled, and finally bit the woman's chin. She released the bird, she released the animal. The result is this: the sparrow is intact, the predator is offendedly lapping milk in the kitchen, and the woman is pecked, bitten and scratched, and even a mess at home!

What kind of pranks are cats capable of! With such animals, life will become more varied and more fun! Get a cat, you won't get bored!
