Sometimes the nose itches for a couple of days, and then herpes does not occur, but in any case, I always try to smear antiviral, because I am afraid and hate this sore. Better get over it.

Usually, after 2-3 hours, such a thick layer of cream dries up on the skin, I go to gently relieve my runny nose, and apply a new layer. If these are lips, then while talking, drinking or snacking, the cream is also slowly erased. I repeat as needed, but it still turns out like every few hours. The cream does not affect the sensations in any way, does not relieve pain, does not reduce itching, does not help relieve swelling. But in general, it would be nice to get an anesthetic effect as well, because the skin under the nose is very sensitive, especially during the period of illness and runny nose, a cold on it is many times more unpleasant than on the lip.

Significantly decreased, the bubbles disappeared, only a crust remained, which now needs to be smeared with something else for accelerated skin regeneration. I use Bepanthen Plus cream.

In principle, it can even be masked with a concealer and it will be almost invisible, only the skin is a little flaky:

Additionally, I took Acyclovir tablets, but in my experience it does not affect the healing rate in any way, except perhaps just a little bit. But even without pills, the cream copes well. But I liked using Acyclovir cream for external use less than Pencivir, because again, in my experience, herpes with Acyclovir is slower, it can grow more, the blisters do not go longer.

By the way, there is another version of Pencivir with toning effect. I don’t need it, all the same, I don’t make up during the period of herpes exacerbation, because again I don’t want to spread the infection on my face, hands, and I’ll have to wash it all off, once again touch herpes, well, him. But to cover up purely herpes is still useless, it seems to me, well, instead of a bubble blamba, you will have just a convex blamba. But if you suddenly urgently need to be made up with a fresh catastrophe on your face and herpes is not very voluminous, then why not, it's good that there is such an option.

Penciclovir suits me, helps fight herpes, does not cause unwanted or unpleasant reactions, the only negative is the price / volume ratio. More than 300 rubles for 2 years versus 10 for 20 rubles of regular Acyclovir. But you know, herpes is such an unpleasant thing that every extra hour counts, if only this horror would pass sooner, I think it's better to overpay, but get an accelerated effect.
