Acylact: instructions for use. Acylact suppositories Acylact suppositories and antibiotics

A probiotic medicine for restoring and normalizing the microflora of the oral cavity, intestines, and vagina is Acylact. Instructions for use indicate that vaginal suppositories No. 5 and No. 10, tablets, dry powder for preparing a solution have good adhesive properties. Reviews of dermatologists report that this medication helps in the treatment of colpitis (with the exception of thrush) and dysbacteriosis.

Release form and composition

The drug is produced in the following dosage forms:

  1. Candles (suppositories) Atsilakt have a cylindrical bullet shape, white or light cream color and a smooth surface. One suppository contains 107 CFU (colony-forming units) of bacteria Lactobacillus acidophilus, strains 100ash, NK1, K3Sh24. They are lyophilized in a nutrient medium for cultivation, with the addition of a protective sucrose-gelatin-milk medium.

Candles are packaged in a blister pack of 10 pieces. The carton contains one blister pack and instructions for using the drug.

  1. Tablets: round, smooth with flat or slightly convex surfaces, from different shades of beige to yellowish-gray, marbling of the surface is allowed, with a characteristic odor (20, 30 or 60 pieces in polypropylene jars, 20 or 30 pieces in vials; in a carton pack 1 propylene jar / bottle).
  2. Lyophilisate for suspension for oral administration and local application[50 million CFU (5 doses) in vials, in a carton pack of 10 vials].

Composition of 1 tablet (5 doses): active substance: Lactobacillus acidophilus (live strains, lyophilized in a culture medium with the addition of a protective sucrose-gelatin-milk medium, compressed into one tablet) ≥ 5 × 107 CFU (colony-forming units). 1 vial of lyophilisate contains lactobacilli acidophilus, live strains, lyophilized in cultivation medium (5 doses) ≥ 5 × 107 CFU.

pharmachologic effect

The use of Atsilact contributes to the implementation of three actions:

  • Restoration of microflora. The main task of the drug is the correction, normalization, balance of microflora. Getting into the oral cavity, intestines, vagina, lactobacilli occupy places suitable for habitation, successfully "take root" there, multiply rapidly. As a result, bacterial imbalance in the vagina, intestinal dysbacteriosis is eliminated, functioning is improved gastrointestinal tract.
  • Antiseptic intestinal action. Acidophilic lactobacilli have a detrimental effect on most pathogenic and opportunistic microbes (E. coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Proteus, etc.). They are resistant to antibiotics, have good adhesive properties, due to which they remain on the mucosa for a long time.
  • Antidiarrheal action. Diarrhea disappears after the destruction of the pathogenic microorganisms that caused it and the simultaneous restoration of the intestinal microflora.

Acylact is a domestic probiotic bacterial preparation based on live acidophilic lactobacilli. It is highly antagonistic towards pathogenic and facultative pathogenic bacteria, including staphylococci, enteropathogenic Escherichia coli, Shigella, Proteus. Such in a good sense "unaccommodating" atsilakta predetermines its corrective action in violation of the bacteriocenosis of the intestine and oral cavity. Thus, the scope of the drug is quite wide and covers diseases of the oral mucosa of inflammatory origin and dysbiotic diseases of the gastrointestinal tract. One of the therapeutic "specializations" of acilact is generalized periodontitis. The drugs of choice in this case are antibacterial agents, however, often antibiotic therapy does not justify itself and only exacerbates clinical picture. A massive antimicrobial attack seriously and permanently disrupts the biocenosis of the oral cavity, suppressing the local immunity of the mucous membranes. Such population deviations of the bacterial microflora are difficult to correct and entail the emergence of resistant strains of microorganisms, followed by dysbacteriosis and the development of hypersensitivity to various allergens, including those of microbial origin. In recent years, in order to balance autoflora, increase immunity, and minimize allergic phenomena, periodontists increasingly resort to probiotics - preparations containing live bacteria, one of which is acylact. This medicine performed well in clinical research in patients with periodontitis. So, already after 2-3 therapeutic sessions, they noted a clear decrease in the intensity of the inflammatory process, that is, acylact had a pronounced anti-inflammatory effect on periodontal tissues. With the elimination of inflammation in the gums, the permeability of the capillary walls decreased. Against the background of acylactoma therapy, the content of lysozyme, an enzyme endowed with the ability to cause hydrolysis of bacterial cells, significantly increased in the saliva of patients.

After the end of the drug course, a significant decrease in the microbial contamination of periodontal tissues was observed. Bacteria, most often the cause of periodontitis - Staphylococcus aureus and auricularis, Streptococcus mutans, Candida tropicalis, Enterobacter cloacae - were practically not isolated during sowing. When monitoring the long-term results of pharmacotherapy, it was found that the use of acylact ensures the preservation and maintenance of the normal composition of the microflora of the oral cavity for up to six months, while in the control group of patients who received other treatment, the quantitative and qualitative composition of undesirable microorganisms returned to the previous levels for 1-3 post-treatment months. In addition to the above positive changes, more than a third of patients who took acylact noted the normalization of the functions of the gastrointestinal tract, namely: the disappearance of abdominal pain, discomfort, "revitalization" of peristalsis. Thus, the results of clinical, microbiological and immunological studies indicate that acylact has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory effects and can be effectively used in generalized periodontitis.

Among other diseases that acilact successfully copes with, one can distinguish vaginal candidiasis, which often occurs during the treatment of bacterial vaginosis with antibiotics. Entity without sentiment antibacterial drugs is such that, having destroyed all conditionally and unconditionally pathogenic microorganisms, they absolutely remove themselves from establishing “constitutional order” in the vagina (read: from restoring normal microflora). In such cases, it is recommended to take probiotic preparations, incl. acylacta, which helps to reduce the risk of recurrence of the disease by increasing the protective properties of the vagina.

Pharmacology

The drug has a high antagonistic activity against pathogenic and opportunistic microorganisms, including staphylococci, shigella, enteropathogenic Escherichia coli, Proteus, which determines the corrective effect of the drug in violation of the bacteriocenosis of the oral cavity and intestines.

Instructions for use

Suppositories are intended for the treatment of diseases of the vagina, accompanied by dysbacteriosis of the vaginal microflora. The drug is produced in Russia.

Composition and properties

Main component"Acilacta" - strains of live acidophilic lactobacilli, which normally inhabit the flora of the vagina. With the development of the pathogenic process, their number sharply decreases.

This can cause a decrease in local immunity and the addition of an infectious process. Lactobacilli, which are part of "Acilact", contribute to the creation of an optimal balance of microflora and the destruction of pathogenic microorganisms (including staphylococcus and E. coli), which are pathogens various diseases.

As auxiliary ingredients in the production of candles, only three components are used, which are necessary to create a solid base:

  • paraffin;
  • solid fat;
  • emulsifier.

Suppositories "Acilact" are elongated vaginal suppositories with a cone-shaped tip. Color: white, yellow or beige. The mass is most often homogeneous, but the presence of small particles (lumps of paraffin) is allowed. Candles have a specific smell, reminiscent of confectionery fat.

The drug is packaged in cells of 5 or 10 pieces (in one carton 1 or 2 contour cells).

When is it appointed?

Indications for the appointment of "Acilact" in the form of candles are:

  • bacterial vaginosis;
  • vaginal dysbiosis;
  • sanitation of the birth canal before childbirth;
  • preparation for surgical operations and micro-operations (for example, for cauterization of erosion);
  • prevention of complications after medical intervention and manipulation;
  • sexual infections accompanied by the development of an inflammatory process (chlamydia, gonorrhea, ureaplasmosis, herpes, etc.);
  • hormonal colpitis.

"Acilact" can be used as an independent tool (most often with preventive purpose) or be part of a comprehensive treatment regimen.

How to apply?

Suppositories must be inserted into the vagina. It is best to do this in a lying position. For maximum results, it is recommended to lie down after the procedure for 30 minutes. Before the introduction, hygiene procedures should be carried out (washing, douching - if necessary).

Contraindications

"Acilact" has no contraindications and restrictions for use, except for individual intolerance to the components of the drug. It is also not recommended to use the remedy for vaginal candidiasis (thrush).

Pregnancy and lactation

The tool is absolutely safe for use during these periods, as it acts exclusively at the injection site, without penetrating into the bloodstream.

Side effects

To date, not recorded side effects when using "Acilact".

However, the possibility of negative reactions, such as itching or redness of the genitals, cannot be completely excluded. This is due to the fact that the candles contain paraffin, which can cause slight irritation of the skin and mucous membranes (very rarely).

special instructions

Reviews

(Leave your feedback in the comments)

From time to time I drink the usual "Acilact" in courses to activate the immune system, I practically do not get sick. When I was pregnant, I was prescribed "Acilact" candles. They are needed to destroy all harmful bacteria, if any. This will prevent infection of the baby during childbirth. I put 1 candle for 5 days. There were no unpleasant sensations. The daughter was born completely healthy.

Candles "Acilact" I use if there is a need to drink antibiotics. They are inexpensive, but in terms of efficiency they are not inferior to advertised foreign drugs containing lactobacilli. They are well tolerated, do not cause itching and burning, as happens with other vaginal suppositories. The only negative is that they are not sold in all pharmacies, otherwise I only praise the manufacturer.
