The active substance of the drug is hexetidine, which has a hemostatic, antimicrobial, enveloping and analgesic effect on the mucous membrane of the throat and mouth. At a concentration of the drug, reaching 100 mg / ml, the growth of most bacterial strains is inhibited. At topical application Hexoral practically does not absorb the drug; after a single use, the active substance can be detected in a residual concentration in the oral cavity for 65 hours. Indications for use

Method of application and dosage

The instructions for Geksoral indicate that the solution should be used only in the treatment of the throat and mouth, the drug is used undiluted, it must not be swallowed during rinsing.
